When Bas is at school Luna, Ekko and me go and find us a bucket of earth in the garden, and play with it and plant something (seeds or cuttings). They love it so much we do it almost every day! Both are very concentrated doing their work and it always ends in being dirty, although Ekko is usually covered while Luna is more a neat gardener. But they say it is good for developing your immune system. Ekko will be super healthy! (Luna plants the seeds so carefully, while Ekko puts a whole bunch in at once, covering it with lots of earth) But she is very fond of the earth worms and Ekko keeps on bringing her more and more, so sweet and funny. After the earth play, comes water play. We use the rainwater to give the cuttings or seeds water and play and pretend cooking leaves and let the rain worms swim.
Wanneer Bas op school is graven Luna, Ekko en ik ergens in de tuin wat aarde op, en spelen ermee en planten iets (zaadjes of stekjes). Ze vinden het zo geweldig dat we dit bijna elke dag doen! Ze zijn allebei super geconcentreerd bezig met hun werk en het eindigt meestal eel vuil, Ekko is meestal nog bruiner, terwijl Luna meer een nette tuinierster is. Maar ze zeggen dat het gezond is voor de ontwikkeling van je immuunsysteem. Ekko gaat blaken van gezondheid. Luna plant de zaadjes heel voorzichtig terwijl Ekko ere en heleboel tegelijk wil instoppen, en ze bedekken met veel aarde). Maar is gek van regenwormen en Ekko brengt er haar steeds een heleboel. Na spelen met de aarde komt spelen met water. We gebruiken regenwater om de zaadjes en stekjes water te geven. Nadien doen ze alsof ze wat koken of laten regenwormen zwemmen.
