We did the 2K Ko'Ko' run

Me and the kids went running (actually walking) for the Ko’Ko on April 10th. Tom had to work so it was kind of a chalange for Ekko (I couldn’t carry him because Luna was in the sling. By the time we got there it was pooring, which it did the whole run! We had the raincoats along lucky thing, but our shoes were soaking wet (I took mine of to start with). We sang the rain songs the whole time! And Ekko didn’t stop onces (only I couldn’t release his hand) the whole 2K run! Bas and I were so proud of him! And Luna was smiling at us big time (I had an umbrella too). I was so happy afterwords we did this! It was really fun! We changed clothes and stayed a little while longer to enjoy the atmosphere (it was raining anymore).

De kinderen en ik gingen lopen (eigenlijk stappen) om geld in te zamelen voor de Ko’Ko (de edemische vogelsoort van Guam) op 10 april. Tom moest werek du shier kwam een uitdaging aan voor Ekko (ik kon hem niet dragen omdat Luna al in de sling zat). En het was bovendien aan het stortregenen. Onze schoenen waren doormat (ik deed de mijne uit van bij het begin). We zongen regenliedjes de hele tijd en Luna was heel de tijd naar ons aan het lachen. En Ekko stopte niet (mocht wel zijn hand niet lossen) de hele 2 kilometer. Bas en ik waren zo trots op hem! We waren zo blij dat we het gedaan hadden. Het was echt leuk! We deden andere kleren aan en bleven nog wat langer om de atmosfeer op te snuiven (het regende niet meer).
