Volunteer art teacher at Bassie’s school

Before I put the Robin and Bas pictures on the web I need to catch up the rest of 2010.

I’m going to start my second semester of volunteer art teaching at Bassie’s school. I had a great time with the kids the first semester. We tried out all different art materials and started a big project. I want to share a few Halloween pictures with you (that way you can see the kids and the masks they made) and a few snips of their art work. These children are so fun to work with. They still have that free spirit thing and concentrate so well creating something beautiful.

Vooraleer ik de Robin en Bas foto’s er op zet, even nog de rest van het jaar 2010 even afwerken.

Ik start mijn tweede semester als vrijwillige kunstlerares op Bas zijn school deze week. Vorig semester was geweldig. We probeerden allerlei verschillende materialen uit en startten een groot project. Ik wil een paar Halloween foto’s met jullie delen (dank kan je de kindjes zien en de markers die ze maakten), alsook een beetje van hun werk. Deze kinderen zijn fantastisch om mee te werken. Ze hebben nog die vrije geest en kunnen zich concentreren om iets moois te creëren.

Penny was so sweet to watch Ekko and Luna while I gave the art class. They love it and wave goodbye when I leave. Ekko will start school too, so it will be only Luna this semester. Thanks Penny for the good care, they love you so much.

Penny lette op Ekko en Luna terwijl ik les gaf. Ze vinden dat geweldig en wuiven wanneer ik vertrek. Ekko gaat nu ook naar school gaan, dus het zal enkel Luna zijn dit semester. Bedankt Penny voor de geode zorgen, ze houden zoveel van je.
